Through our unique Plastic Neutral Program we are supporting businesses and companies to achieve key Sustainable Development Goals.

Target 4: Quality Education: (4.4) PC programs empower youth and adults with quality Plastic Resource Recovery education, skills, training and enterprise development. PC programs include ‘Know your plastics’, ‘Working with plastics’, ‘Waste to Resource’, ‘How to reduce your plastic footprint- become Zero-waste or Plastic Waste-free’. 

Target 8: Decent Work & Economic Growth: (8.3) PC programs provide developing communities with the opportunity to establish small scale micro-enterprises, innovating with designs and ideas to create jobs and economic growth

Target 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure: (9.3) PC programs deliver small scale industrial mobile machinery and tools for resource recovery, and connect  developing communities to supply chains and markets with global brands. (9.5a.) PC facilitates sponsorship/grant support to deliver sustainability programs to least developed countries particularly the 4000 Asia-Pacific small island developing states most polluted by waste plastic.

Target 11: Sustainable Cities & Communities: (11.7a.) Partnerships through the Collective networks between Shruder program sites in rural and peri-urban strengthens relationships between cities and surrounding communities.

Target 12: Responsible Consumption & Production: (12.5) Each Shruder program recovers and transforms up to 25 tonnes of waste plasticinto saleable products per year – changing waste into a resource. (12.8) The Shruder program is a comprehensive package, including remote monitoring of machinery & production(12.8b.) The Ethical Plastic program includes source provenance & batched data of  supply chains to global brand products. Provenance stories & media content for each community program will promote local culture, certify ethical production and encourage eco-tourism.

Target 14: Life Below Water: (14.1) PC’s Resource Recovery programs will prevent and significantly reduce plastic marine pollution and marine debris from land-based activities, as these programs will be primarily located in communities where 100% of waste plastics are regularly discarded directly into the environment.

Target 17: Partnership for the Goals: (17.1) PC’s Ethical Plastic programs provide a diverse range of partnerships and international collaboration with remote developing communities, providing revenue channels and improved domestic capacity. (17.9)  PC develops international partnerships through program sponsorships and creates circular economy supply chains with global brands, improving domestic capacity for revenue collection in developing communities.
